I tried a new technique on this picture, in that i scanned up a scribble and then worked it from there, including inking it digitally. I had a lot of fun and a great deal of freedom doing this. I'd like to include it in my Art Show, if I get to...
I wanted it dark, so of course alllll the ridiculous work i did on the wiring of the thing doesn't show at all... but it was starting to take away from the face and the heart, and they were my main focus, so hopefully it looks good as a finished piece. :3

Ooo, I love this piece. <3 The title makes it all the more interesting--after all, people tend to think of the heart as the source of emotion, yet it seems to be the only non-robotic part of her. Great work on the face, by the way.
yeah! i'm glad someone picked up on that. I even wanted to keep her face looking sterile and mask-like. I really wanted only her heart to be really accurate. <3
