this is jyaae's song, bring me to Life. probably the most well known of the evanescence songs, this one is for Jyaae (and Taro)
jyaae and Taro were friends when they were but wee children, about 3 or 4. and then they went to different schools and lsot contact. back in those days, jyaae had herself a crush on taro, and that crush fuly renewed itself when they met again through vitara nd masala 10 years later. vitara is taro's best friend, and masala is jyaae's cousin. so, they decide to go on a double date, ad after taro is disheveled and ate par usual, jyaae is smitten again, and taro is - as always utterly clueless.
anyway, he doesn't think of her as anything more than a best friend, but gets incredibly jealous when she gets a boyfriend that isn't him. *grins*
anyway, the guy ends up talking to taro and basically going: look, she likes YOU. and trao goes: wha--???? how come i didn't know?? and everyone else goes: IT WAS PAINFULLY OBVIOUS!!!!
anyway...onto this picture.
jyaae's mecha is neptune and is made of liquid metal. it does stand up to taking blows, it blows apart and reforms itself. which means, jyaae inside gets torn apart and reassembled, which must feel absolutely weird, hence why she throws up after it does it the first time.
and this is of the mecha reforming itself around jyaae, and her reaching out to taro who is standing around like the dumb fuck he is going: is that supposed to happen??????

this is jyaae asking taro, because he's the first person she really truly is in lvoe with and doesn't know why - he's really not her type.

jyaae has emotional issues at times. she feels too much that often she's giving too much of herself to others and runs on empty, wears her heart on her sleeve and watches it shatter and such.
taro makes her feel alive, and happy and gives her a purpose on the inside, even though she never ceases to show a happy face to the world.

i guess taro is like guidance and direction for her. jyaae needs direction, she's such a mutable sign, so watery and flowing and changing, that she needs something to hold onto, and taro is nothing but logic. he teaches her to reason, she teaches him to feel.

again, they bring out of one another what they donot have on their own. they make each other whole.

jyaae is afraid of the dark, reall she is, she has a lot of phobias, and taro doesn't have a single one. he fears nothing. doesn't like a few things, but doesn't FEAR anything. bid my blood to run, before i come undone, save me from the nothing i've become.
jyaae is kind of trampled by the image she's projected. everyone expects her to be this happy go lucky, always cheerful, kind of fluffy person, and she really has drowned in it. she's lost in what she ought to be doing, and really doesn't think that much of herslef, when she really should. no one takes her seriously, except taro who swears she's trying to hide from hima nd the world, because she's gotten by for so long as a child, that she doesn't know how to grow up, and can't face the world's expectations.

this is taro reassuring her, iswear. because really, to him, she's the only one for whom he really feels LOVE, (aside from arius) normally he doesn't feel anything. and she does make him feel alive and part of this world, intead of so removed and distant like he usually sees himself.

i've been sleeping a thousand years it seems - taro is so much older than he looks, a timeless soul, and really just floating through lives as if through air, without touching down, until know.
got to open my eyes to everything - jyaae is so swallowed in her own conceptions that she misses the meaning of what's happening to and aronud her, and needs to really wake up to her life.

she really can't express herself, becauase whenever she tries, no noe takes her seriously, except for taro, who never does anything BUT express himself, as blunt and aloof as he can come off.
