So, the second painting I did with the canvases I got for a Christmas giftcard from Jason.
This one is the theme of dryad. Basically, I wasn't sure what to do for the second one, so i smeared some yellow paint on the canvas, and this whole image popped into my head. I wanted to do depth and rich colours and a designed wildness. Also, this is the first time I've managed to get lighting and gradiated shading on a person in paint. So yay. I actually like this one better than Dream, and I think I might just keep her. :3
Phenomenal work, hun. The border looks really crisp in this pic, and her face comes through really well. Also, it has a lot more happening than I'd realized when it's under full light.
