LOME - Possibility The the Mythology of the Forgotten Gods of Ul-Zaorith, Lome was the son of Bacha and Pranda. Lome is considered the personification of the magic lines int he world known as Huskline. Like Bacha, the Husklnie and Lome as concepts are interchangeable. Lome is Possibility, both of that which never was and that which could have been but isn't. Every choice not taken, every opportunity lost, every chance not taken becomes the thin, nearly insubstantial threads known as Huskline. Certain arts of magic draw their powers from this type of energy, such as prophecy, astral travel, conjuring (displacing objects through space), illusions etc. While each individual thread of Lome is weaker than each line of his counterpart Drehnd, there are many more options not selected than each path actually walked, making Lome far more bountiful and often easier to access and draw from. Ghosts, hopes, shadows, dreams, thoughts, wishes, wills, spirits, souls, effort, emotion, intention, promises - these are the Domains of Lome.
Media: 9x9 canvas, acrylic paint (blue, black, white, red, all hues self-mixed), irridescent medium. Price: $75 (alone; with Drehnd deal price of $120; full set of five $260)
I posted two photos of this one before with flash it gives you the allusion of how the painting looks up close - vvery bright and vibrant, and obvious as to the shadows of matter painted into it, whereas the bottom shot without flash gives a good impression of how it looks from a distance, more subtle, dark and hazy. You have to just see it to get what I mean. :3
i couldn't get a good shot of it at all. This was as well as i could do. i think because of all the irredescent wash on it the flash got extremely reflective.
