Rad Cat Hat by tarorae Rad Cat Hat by tarorae
Well, we saw these neat hats on Lolita Kisama, and we liked them.

But we decided to make our own. So, for D I made my version of Bunny Bou, which we call Bunny Bee

And mine was an original design inspired by about three different hat designs. Mine is called the Rad Cat Hat, because it's fun to say.

This hat is excedingly comfortable, and very very affordable.

The top two images show front and back views in detail, and the bottom shows what it looks like worn and to scale.

Uhhhh, I haven't really thought about price yet, since I originally made it for myself, but I hardly ever wear it.

I think about 60$ would be fair? It's hand-sewn, a lot of really expensive materials and fiddly-details. Let me know if you're interested.

no worries~ The amount it cost me for materials on this one pretty much makes it an impossibly pricey hat, which is why i never tried to market them. :3

These are one of a kind, but I'm taking commissions right now. If you have a specific colour theme or style you'd like.

I'd be perfectly willing to sell them by commission. But I wouldn't want to make an assload and then be stuck with them sitting around my house, y'know?

I wore mine to work yesterday, and I'm wearing it again today. I received many comments. What makes it better is that it's super soft to the touch. ^^

the black is good quality double-sided fleece so it doesn't need a liner, with jogging fleece for the red, and wool plaid tartan for the black and white. Acrylic-cotton blend ribbon for the eyes, and a metre of black chain and an assload of safety pins.

question im using a tutorial ad i would like to know if i sew 2 things together with a sewing machine would it show up on the other side?

first off, I do all my sewing by hand, so I'm prolly not the best person to ask.

But it depends on how you sew it. it say you sew two peices of cloth together in just a straight lnie from one corner to the next, and then flip it inside-out no, you won't see the stitching. You will then need to iron ir in order for it to lie truly flat though. Hope that helps.
