So, i finished this a long time ago and i completely forgot to take a picture of it and post it. This is a Suoro Tehlaba. The suoro think that tapestries are tacky, so they instead do these sewing pieces, using texture, colour and shape.
I made one in the asymentrical style. Made from pinstriped jean, black leather, brocade, quilted low pile velvet, acrylic weave, ribbon, tassel trim, apholstry grade vinyl and a lot of thread. Hung on a brass curtain rod. Approx. 24inches tall.
